Metabolism is the rate by which the body produces and consumes energy and calories to support life.

Some factors for instance the stress level, genetics, personal diet, levels of activity, the amount of muscle tissue, the frequency of the meals one consumes, genetics, stress levels, personal diet and activity levels can influence the metabolism of a person. In other hand there are some factors also that can slow down Metabolism process such as the decrease of physical activity that comes naturally with old age, loss of muscle because of not enough physical activity, the tendency of the body to cannibalize its own tissue because there is not enough food energy to sustain it.

You can boost metabolism in your body with many ways and several of them as below:

  1. Doing easy exercise such as using the stairs in the place of the elevators, or jogging at least 2 times at week. It could make strength and resistance of metabolism. You should match the amount of eating to the amount of activity one has.
  2. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so you should eat your breakfast. Any one who eats breakfast are thinner than the ones who do not. Metabolism can slow down considerably if breakfast is taken during mid-morning or if one waits until the afternoon to eat.
  3. Get enough sleep because , muscles are regenerated during the last couple of hours of slumber
  4. Drink enough water because water flushes out toxins that are produced whenever the body burns fat. Majority of body process* demands water, and miss of water makes the body scheme processes to reduction its speed, and gets unnecessary stress as a outcome.
  5. Try to avoid sugar because sugar enables the body to store fat. It is suggested that a individual takes food that assists maintain an regular level of blood-sugar.
  6. Eat on smaller meals. It is advisable to consume 4 to 6 small meals that are timed 2 to 3 hours apart.
  7. Do not cut across meals. People run to cut meals in order to reduce weight, which is a big error as it slows down metabolism.
  8. Always make up the appropriate number of food to be ate at the determined intervals. Do not commit the mistake of eating meals in sporadic patterns.
  9. Stress activates the exit of a steroid known as cortisol, which step-downs metabolism so you had better void stress. Also, people tend to eat excessively when stressed.
  10. Add more energy foods in diet such as eat a lot of fruits and vegetable, whole grains, and beans and drink green tea because tea has the ability to stimulate metabolism, and undesirable side effects when too much is consumed.
