Basic Yoga Eye Exercises To Cure Puffy Tired Eyes

A lot of people are now experiencing stress with their body including their eyes. Eyestrain is due to staring at your computer screen the whole day, reading very small prints from a newspaper, or watching tv. Doing the same task for a long period of time make your eyes tired and can lead to eye strain. Eye strain is a form of muscle cramp.
You can prevent having eyestrain by taking few seconds to rest your eyes. In order to release the strain from your eye, you should exercise your eyes. If you will not do this, your common eye strain can lead to deeper tension in your body. As the saying goes, “your eyes are the window of your soul”, so you better take care of your eyes. If not, your eyes may look tired, dull and unexciting.
Eye yoga exercises will help relieve your puffy strained eyes. It will give your eyes more oxygen if you practice these exercises two to five times during the day. You can increase this during the periods of extreme strenuous job. Just remember when you perform these eye exercises you need to relax your shoulders, breathe gradually, place your head still and just let your eyes do the exercise. Follow some yoga eye exercises to alleviate sleepy puffy eyes.
- Repeat 10x for 10 minutes, open your eyes wide open, looking side-to-side, up-and-down.
- Follow the movements of the hand of the clock. Start with 12 then continue in a clockwise direction then rest. Repeat the process counter clockwise.
- Simply close your eyes and using the tip of your finger, carefully press the outer ends of your eyes. Follow the circular motion, gently massage your eyes.
- With your eyes still closed, rub your palms energetically to give your palm the warmth, then gently put it in your eyes and massage it in circular motion. Perform this for at least 30 to 90 seconds.
Do these basic yoga eye exercises to help you relieve eyestrain caused by too much focus on repeated work. Definitely they will give your eyes smoothness and refreshing feeling.
