What if I told you that stretching as a part of soccer training tips is highly recommended by professional soccer coaches and is widely practiced by players in almost every sport? Talking about soccer, it is constantly growing and developing in its difficulty.
In kid’s training for soccer, there are two types of stretching, dynamic and static stretching that are integrated.
Static stretching requires the kids to extend their muscles as far as they can and hold for a given duration of time. Rebounding, rhythmic bouncing, and recurring motions are involved in dynamic stretching. In comparison with static stretching, it is more risky and less useful.
This article shares some of the benefits that stretching provides in helping average players become champions.

Stretching reduces injuries: When players do stretching every day and keep doing it for a long time, it promotes their muscle growth that reduces the risk of injury. Stretching also provides a way of increasing the muscle size and strength.

For almost all players, one single 15-30 minute stretch for each muscle group is sufficient but some may need longer stretches and more repetitions.
This is because when the temperature of muscles is higher than normal, tightness decreases and extensibility increases. It is better, safer, and more productive to do stretching exercises when the body temperature is higher than normal.
That’s why some experienced coaches recommend stretching after a workout also. Stretching for five minutes after practicing soccer skills prevents muscles from tightening too fast.
Generally, players who exercise an active warm-up prior to stretching get a better range of motion than those who only stretch. So if injury prevention is your aim, stop stretching before exercise and increase the warm up time.

Free soccer training drills
You might disagree, but hear me out on this. While practicing free soccer training drills, one of the best plans to attack the other team is, to keep exchanging the ball within the team members, and finding a loop hole in the defenders of the other team thus achieving the goal. These skills can easily be imparted to the new players, if, during the soccer coaching drills, the coaches would follow the tips we are going to mention in the following sections.
Match winning tactic: keep the ball swinging between attackers from right to left; engaging the defenders in between. Look a good opportunity and attack the goal. Swapping the ball between the team players also helps reducing the stress.
The Fast switch or the Blind Pass: Teach one or two mid-fielders to throw the blind pass by moving the ball using right foot, and hitting it to the left.Rapid Switching or the Blind Pass: Develop a skill in one or two mid-fielders to move the ball with right foot while kicking it to the left, showing almost a blind pass. For the left-footed mid-fielders, the same effect can be achieved by swinging the ball using left foot, and kicking it back to the right.
Your team will have an excellent chance to achieve the goal, since the opposite defender won’t be expecting the pass.

You should train the players to make switching the ball a habit; keeping all others to be ready for this type of pass. Of all the soccer drills, your kids may find this drill rather difficult but it is it’s competitive nature that guarantees player’s total participation in soccer practice.
To complete this drill, six small goals are to be setup on both the sides of the ground. A point is scored by the team when the player runs through the goals placed in the middle when playing out from the back. They get two points for passing through the last goals as this encourages switching.

Free soccer training drills
If you are like me, you probably understand the importance of incorporating free soccer training drills that teach every player in your team to throw the ball in. Practically 70 percent of throw-ins are foul, during the youth soccer drills and the other team gets hold of the ball.
For that matter and important step is to ensure that every player in your team is able to carry out throw-ins accurately and get control of the ball straight away. Thus the player may easily go behind the defense and make a hit for the ball.
The requirements to teach the players to acquire the ball back in to play quickly are only certain moves and actions performed correctly at the U-10 level and below.
Some soccer coaches tend to count only on some selected players in free soccer training drills. These kind of players are named as designated throwers. You’ve probably heard it a hundred times that soccer coaching requires many different traits in a coach. You want patience, determination, humility, and desire to learn more, the ability to lead your team etc in order to successfully coach soccer. A soccer coach has the same status as a leader. I would like to share with you some important concepts in soccer training. Good coaching does not imply that young players act like professionals. It means that their training should be according to their age. It ultimately comes down to succeeding long term both on and off the field and doing it correctly.
In this article you will find tips to help you coach your kids in the best and the most competent manner. A list of criteria follows that is the key to coaching soccer.
Just because an individual has more knowledge of the game does not mean he or she is a better coach. Its just that he will be a good soccer theorist.
